Mac OS X HYSPEED TEXT SETUP
Step 1 - Connect to Hybeam

Step 3 - Installing the Accelerator Software

To begin the WebRunner Accelerator
installation, click on the Setup Disk Image File.

When opening the disk image file, OS X will
automatically mount the image and open the contents for display.

Click on the WebRunner Installer Package inside of the disk image
folder. This will start the installation.

Press the "Continue" button to view the license agreement.

After reviewing the license agreement, hit the "Continue" button.

If you agree to the terms of the installation, press the "Agree"
button. If not, choose "Disagree." If you do not agree to the terms,
than you will not be able to continue with the software
installation.

After agreeing to the terms of the license agreement, you will need
to select a drive for installation. Choose your drive and press the
"Continue" button.

To begin the software installation, click
the "Update" button.

You may be prompted to enter a username name and password for an
account with the right to install software on your computer. If you
are prompted, you must enter a valid username and password to
continue.

The software will now be installed. After
installation, OS X will optimize the hard disk.

Upon completion you will be prompted as to whether or not the
installation was successful. Close the installer by clicking the
"Close" button.

After installation, the WebRunner software will open. The first
screen will ask you for your proper logon information. Your logon
information is the same username and password you logon to the
internet with. Click the "Save and Continue" button after you have
entered your information.

If
you need to access WebRunner and it isn't already running,
double-click on the "Macintosh HD" or your local drive that you
installed the software to.

Double-click to open the "Applications"
folder.

Choose the "WebRunner Accelerator" icon. Double-click this icon to
open WebRunner.

WebRunner will load and be visible in the OS X Dock.

The
WebRunner application will open to the Status tab. In this tab, you
will see the current status of WebRunner. If there is traffic
running through WebRunner, the icon will animate.

In
the Images tab, you will be able to change the acceleration speed to
the image quality. The image quality will deteriorate when the
acceleration speed is increased.

The
Connections tab will display your login information.

Clicking the "Advanced..." button will open a new window with
information about the WebRunner server. Changing any of these fields
could disable the WebRunner Accelerator.

The
Update tab will allow you to choose if WebRunner will prompt you for
minor updates. These updates are only for minor functionality or
display changes and will not change how WebRunner works or increase
your browsing speeds.

By
clicking the WebRunner menu, you can Start WebRunner if the service
is stopped, Stop WebRunner if the service is already started, or
open the Diagnostics terminal.

The
Diagnostics terminal will give you information about your internet
connection and your system. To run the terminal, click on the "Get
Diagnostics Info." button. Clicking the "OK" button will close the
window. The "Copy" button will copy the information on the terminal
window to the clipboard.
Summary
You can start and
stop the Accelerator by clicking this tab. Normally you will leave
the Accelerator started.
When you click
Statistics the system will display information about how much faster
Accelerator has made your Internet connection.

Quality – Slide the bar to the desired speed and Image Quality
Connection
– Only if you are assigned a new password from Hybeam
Email - We
suggest enabling to increase the speed of email transfers
Update –
Check for new software updates
Proxy
Exclusion – Remove certain web sites from being accelerated
Popup
Blocker allows you to stop popup ads while browsing.
